If you have been shopping lately, I am sure you have noticed that neon colors are trending for spring and summer. This trend can be a little bit intimidating. How do you wear neons without looking like a highlighter or like you stepped right out of the 80's? The best way to try the trend is to focus on accessories, like a neon belt or jewelry. Pair neon accessories with neutral clothing to add a nice pop of color without overdoing it - such as a simple white tee, black and white stripes or a chambray top.

I am loving the neon accessories! It is a great way to subtly incorporate the trend. Part Two of "How to Wear Neons" later this week will focus on trying a neon clothing item or two.
So, tell me - have you tried the neon trend?
I say pick up one of the neon accessories above and go for it!
Love this! My post today is about accessorizing with pops of color, lol! Have a great week!

What a great idea for a post! I really love the pops of neon, but tend to shy away from them when it comes to wearing it. I really want to try and incorporate it little by little. I think the jewelry is where it's at for me, for now! Baby steps :)

Totally loving the neon trend! For me it's easier to incorporate neon pink or jade rather than yellow, but I would love to try. :)

Love every single thing here. The earrings, the belts, the necklaces...all so, so cute!
ReplyDeleteI am LOVING neon right now. Although I don't actually own anything neon, I am enjoying the super pop of color this spring!
